Ages 3–15 · Four age groups
Kids Jiu Jitsu
Our flagship program: a curriculum calibrated by age that develops motor skills, behaviour and character alongside technique.
Kids Jiu-Jitsu in Key Biscayne
Our kids program welcomes children from age 3 and is organized around age-appropriate instruction. Parents can review the kids teaching methodology and speak with the academy about the right group for their child.
Starting with young children
Our youngest students train in the Kinder group, for ages 3 to 6. Classes focus on movement, listening, and having fun while learning the first basics of Jiu-Jitsu.
What parents ask before the first visit
Your child can wear comfortable clothes for the trial and should bring water. Parents are welcome to stay and watch. Every child moves at their own pace, and it is normal for little ones to need a class or two to feel comfortable.
A trial class offers a chance to visit the academy, meet the team, and see how training works.
What training looks like
Classes grouped by age and maturity so every child trains with peers at the same stage.
Playful, game-based learning for the youngest groups; real technical progression for the older ones.
Behaviour, relationships, organisation and commitment are evaluated alongside technique.
Anti-bullying culture, respect for training partners and self-defence skills that transfer to school life.
Who it's for
Children and teens from 3 to 15, split into Kinder, Elementary, Little Eagles and Eagles.
