Lucas Araújo

Lucas Araújo leads the mats at Alliance Key Biscayne. Formed inside the Alliance system, he competed at the highest level of the sport before turning his full attention to teaching — and he brings that competitive standard into every class, whether it's a first-week beginner or an athlete preparing for a world event.

His classes follow the official Alliance curriculum: clear positional structure, heavy emphasis on fundamentals, and detail explained until it makes sense. He is equally at home coaching a four-year-old through their first game and correcting a purple belt's guard retention.

Above all, Lucas built this academy around a culture: respect for training partners, consistency over intensity, and a place where a whole family can train.

The Masters Behind the Methodology

Alliance Jiu Jitsu Team is one of the most decorated organisations in the sport. The masters below founded and shaped the international Alliance methodology we teach here — they are part of our lineage, not the local Key Biscayne teaching staff.
